Rematch of St. Therese and St. Thomas Aquinas. At the very first whistle of the referee, things get fumbled. Hearts go pumping as the crowds scream at the top of their lungs just to cheer their respective teams. 1st quarter started. Both teams are all geared up and we are ready to go. Opening tip was owned quickly by us. We started playing offense and defense at both ends of the court. My first basket was a lucky board-ring teardrop. The score was 4-0 but Thomas is a tough team to give away their pride. Three straight three pointers was made by me and i got 11 big points in the span of the first quarter. It ended great with the score of 15-6. A big opening lead opened. Until, all things went way too far from planned. We only scored 4 points in the 2nd quarter. 3rd half was on, THOMAS WILL BE THOMAS. As usual, hard defense was played by them. Not giving up in the offensive end. And we find ourselves in a world of discontent. We're down 12 points until the 2 minute mark of the 4th quarter. We had cut the lead to 3 points but it was not enough. The last shot probably would bring our team to our overtime went wrong. I just smiled about it. Having a perspective of a TWICE TO BEAT heart.
